Death is now part of the world because of the sin which was committed by the first people on eart. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin affected all humanity, bringing suffering, aging, and physical death. The Bible teaches that death is a consequence of living in a fallen world and is part of the human condition experienced by everyone.
The bible also gave us hope that after death, if we lived a good life we will go to eternal life in heaven. Through Jesus Christ, believers are promised eternal life and the resurrection of the dead. While physical death remains a reality, Christians view it not as the end, but as a passage to eternal life for those who trust in God.
