Its only 2hrs drive from San Diego , however we were driving right at hottest time of the day, midday.

Empty road and complete silence, not a soul around.

Imagine running out of gas right there :) Loved nice scenery and piece of nature.

Rocky and wavy road turned into little bit more green and more alive.

We are in Borrego Springs!

Driving with roof top down was little bit too crazy, temperature went as high as 113F

Still loved it, I am one of those who prefer heat over cold. I lived in Eastern Europe and winters get as cold sometimes as -31F, so this heat doesn't even bother me. Got very odd tan tho, right side of my neck was completely burnt, bad idea not to apply sunscreen.

Had relaxation massages scheduled, after long and hot drive it was amazing.

Had another walk around in Borrego Springs, just enjoy views and check whats going on there.

... And going not much! or to be more exact, nothing :) empty and quiet . Spotted some wild horses and elephants, metal ones, still pretty cool

Borrego Springs Resort and Spa also has golf fields, but they were closed until November, I guess its too hot now, will definitely come back later in a year to try it.

I guess this is not season for visitors as it was very hot, there were people there but I really loved as it was not overcrowded as usually is in the resorts during summer time.

Mountain views and sunset was breathtaking.

Watched sun go down and walked around golf fields.

We only could stay for a day, so had to head back to San Diego on Sunday.

Didn't expect this place to be so amazing, definitely going back for little longer than a mini-day-vacation.

Breakfast time and back on the road!
