For my third book of the summer I read Jack Reacher One Shot. I saw this movie years back and I just remembered that I liked the movie but I don't remember it. After reading the book I know why I liked the movie because the book was amazing. The author Lee Child draws a picture that is so easy to follow and as realistic as if I were in the book walking with Reacher. The way the author delivered the conversations made me feel apart of them. They were as life like as any I have ever read. Almost as if it were a court reporter giving every detail as the trial is taking place. I will be reading more Reacher novels this summer and I look forward to how the characters talk and interact with each other. To me the story was second fiddle to the characters themselves. So now all I want to do is read about what Reacher is up to. Who he is meeting and what are they saying. The story just gives me a background to place the characters.
Do yourself a favor and read this book. You will enjoy it as I did.
