As you already know I'm into nature and everything that has to do with it so I try to surround myself with as much plants as I can and today I'll share the process of making some very innovative solutions of decorating my work space with some interesting plants.
WE WILL BE MAKING
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS PROJECT
- Glass container (I got mine from a pudding container I bought in Lidl)
- Plants ( I use succulents from my garden) and a store bought Crassula Ovata for this project
- Activated Charcoal (to prevent your container from growing algae and mold)
- Water
PROCESS
Organize your work space and start by carefully removing the plant from the pot while trying to preserve as much of the root system as possible.
Put half spoon of activated charcoal in the bottom of your container and fill the rest with soil and lightly water it so you can place your first plant easily. Place the biggest plant first then visualize how you want your container to look when it is finished.
With a pen poke small 1cm holes in the soil where you would like to put rest of your plants. Now use your imagination to fill up the space with succulents. My idea of perfect is to put as much as possible (: and later on as they grow remove some to clear up some space for them to grow.
The end result should look something like this
The selection of plants I used for this container require really low maintenance and almost no water so they are ideal for the lazy plant enthusiast (:
Hopefully this inspires you to make your own tiny succulent container.
Next week we will be making
Until then have a great day and steem on!
