Steem Art - Part of MSP

At first glance, maybe this post is a bit pandering. Okay, it's a lot pandering. That wasn't the only reason for this post though. I first signed up for Steem after a friend referred me to the page. As a freelance writer, I write a lot and so sometimes, I won't lie, it is hard to post as much as I would like on here. I mean, a girl can only type so many things per day even when you type 120 wpm. The art community on here though. That is one of the main reasons I love Steem. I found a place where I can post art and I can explore my own creativity, and actually get feedback as well as support and encouragement. As part of MinnowSupport, Steem Art on Discord has allowed me the opportunity to talk with other artists, see what they are up to and get involved with projects that I want to be doing.

This is why I made this piece. @ArtsyGoddess is pretty awesome and seriously has been a great benefit to the other artists. I figured that some more love (and attention) for the page isn't a bad idea. Then I got inspired.

This started off as a little doodle type drawing when people were chatting on the board.

It wasn't much and I was on a break from my "day job" (aka in between articles). I ended up spacing out for a few hours after that and the final creation was made.

I almost always use mixed media and this one is no different. I colored with some markers then got out the paint and painted a new version of it and then edited it for putting up on here in Steem.
