Greetings dear community as I told you in my previous post I am finally playing Dark Souls 3 after defeating me about 26 times I have defeated the nameless king and the truth felt like a great challenge.
I will explain you my Build and how I did to defeat them since at some point I thought I would not win that fight, well let's start I carry a Biuld full dexterity with pyromancies, to be more exact I have, 45 dexterity, 50 vitality, 35 stamina. 25 resistances. The rest of the stats are irrelevant for this victory.
I have the mercenary duals at +10 imbued with sharp, and the combined set with resistance to electrical damage, but you can choose the one you feel more comfortable with, if you choose heavy set you can hit but you will dodge worse the boss attacks, if you choose light armor the damage you will receive will be very large but your invulnerability range will be higher.
The nameless king is one of the most difficult bosses I've faced in Dark souls in general, it's like facing the chaser in Dark souls 2 with level 1, I mean the trick is to roll to his right side rotating counterclockwise, plus his attacks are very strong and no matter how little defenses you have, he will always do a lot of damage.
This enemy has a combo of 3 attacks that can continue to chain if you hit you with them, easily makes you lose your balance which prevents the exchange of blows between your character and him.
But let's go through how to defeat him:
The first thing is to raise your damage to the maximum, that we can achieve if we use weapons with high DPS and raised to +10, as I told you in my case are the duals of the mercenary at +10 with imbued in sharp, also use electric pine resin during the fight, the key is to learn his movement set, which we will achieve by learning their attack patterns, in these windows of damage the most important thing is to cause much damage to avoid extending the fight more.
At the beginning the Dragon and the nameless king are mounted together, his main attacks are a flare under him, you can notice that because the dragon starts to fly that is the time to run away from him, there is also an air attack where the nameless king throws a lightning spear which has a long time, so we must roll to avoid that damage.
Lastly, there is the movement set with the spear mounted on the dragon, which we can see by aiming at the enemy; it is really necessary to keep the enemy aimed all the time since the camera makes it difficult for us to fight.
The opportunities to do damage to the boss is when he throws a flare from his left to his right, running directly to his neck, I recommend spending stamina damage at that moment.
If the dragon takes a lot of damage to the head, it will fall which will allow us to do critical damage.
Once the dragon is defeated the nameless king absorbs its power becoming stronger than before, now being able to jump very high.
This is where you really need to bring out your ability to memorize his moves, his attacks are telegraphed, but he usually changes the speed of his attacks to make you roll earlier, and with a good combo of his attacks you are dead.
The trick is to keep the enemy aimed all the time and memorize his moves, but for me the main key is to do a lot of damage quickly, because when we reach half of his life his thirst for moves changes, and the boss stays static throwing rays, that's the time to do a lot of damage and finish the fight.
