As you all most probably know, photography is my core business. But very often I also design for my clients. The last few weeks I've been busy restarting my company due to the long personal journey I had to take. For those who are interested in that, I will be doing a final post about it in my free time.
Last week was a little bit chaotic as I received a last-minute design project for one of my clients. Their mission is to create a more environment-friendly world. They're starting with the Netherlands and so far, so good! They transform (old) houses into green-energy generating houses. Pretty awesome!

The mock-up is a little bit smaller than the initial design, but it gives you a good idea how the design is going to look like on a real roll-up banner. At the end of the month, they are presenting their products on a business fair. They needed a cool roll-up banner to attract the visitors to their stand. The message had to be covered in one design so they would get the target-audience at their stand.
After about 15 hours of designing, the file I was working with became corrupted. Did some research what exactly the problem was, but apparently it was a mixture of multiple things. It was that one out of x moment you eventually are going to have as a designer. Anyway, I had to redesign the entire banner before today (deadline), because it had to be sent to the printing office today at the latest. Fingers crossed!
The final design.
I'm pretty happy how the design turned out. All the subtle details are nicely blended together so it will give one easy to digest message.
If you are a Dutch owner of a house and you would like to contribute to the environment, lower the costs of your bills, save money and have more living comfort, you can contact them to arrange everything for you. Their trait is to remove most (maybe all) of the burdens for you when it comes to transforming your house into a green one.
Cheers,
Ruben
