I have tried and tried to get some test Ethereum for the token sale, and I finally got my hands on some. Here is how I've participated in the test EOS token sale. I have jumped through several steps, but visit this link to catch up.
A mysterious figure on this chat sent me the keth I've needed to get started.
I've associated my Metamask wallet with the sale and sent .5 Kovan Ether (or Test Ether or Keth).
Metamask pops up and asks you to accept or reject the exchange.
I approve the transaction and it shows up on my transaction history.
I go back to the EOS test token sale and see my little (fake) pile of EOS.
Later in the day I will send .1 Keth so you can try. Comment on what you'll do with all your test EOS and I'll send it to the funniest comment.
