Welcome To Heavenly Secret Base - Ladies Metal in Japan For Three Tune Tuesday

Rising sun, having fun with real glam rock, Japanese, metal, girl bands! Female metal bands have exploded over the past 10 years in Japan. While electronic pop has taken over the world, Japanese girl metal bands are holding the line in the far East. Here are three that have hit my radar.

First up is one of my favorite new ladies group, Lonesome Blue "Welcome To Heavenly Secret Base". All your base are belong to us!

Trident are a young three piece with just enough talent that may launch them into super star status in the coming years. Have a listen to one of their latest tunes "Repaint".

And finally, we just need to kick some ass with one of the older girl metal bands, Bandmaid "Freedom".

There are a lot of metal bands in Japan which gives me hope that good music will live on! 🤘🏻
