Hive is a funny place. At first, you do it for the money... but later it becomes addictive, and you keep doing it simply because you enjoy it!

For me, one of the biggest downsides is that many accounts receive automatic votes even when they post low-quality content. Meanwhile, someone new can put a lot of effort into a post and still not get a single vote from a whale. It’s sad and can be really discouraging.
