The Echo Raids system was introduced to the game during the latest Summer Update 2026. Echo Raids is a mechanic designed to add variety to regular hunting in Tibia through random, short-duration events that appear directly in the game world. The system is not a separate activity mode requiring you to enter a specific location. It appears randomly on the map while you’re leveling up. All you have to do is enter the sphere of light. There are three types of raids:
The main idea behind the system is to add variety to the gameplay so that we can enjoy the game even more and experience an element of surprise. Echo Raid isn’t meant to be a very difficult boss. It’s meant to be a rare but noticeable event that breaks up the hunting routine and offers a chance at an extra reward. In my experience, such a raid appears at most twice during an hour-long exp run.
An Echo Raid can spawn in two ways.
Both methods operate in parallel. Echo Raids can therefore exist as recurring events in sub-areas, but they can also appear dynamically after a monster is killed.
An Echo Raid appears as a special area (a map object) with an animation. To activate it, simply step into it. Activation is instantaneous, as the system is designed to function smoothly and naturally during gameplay.
Echo Raid also has a sound effect. The sound gets louder as the player approaches the event location, which helps you notice a raid in the area.
Once you enter an Echo Raid, the event can end with one of several outcomes:
The simplest option summons a group (8 creatures) of ordinary monsters associated with that location. This type of raid is a short, bonus encounter and primarily grants experience and the standard loot from the creatures you defeat.
The second variant summons “Influenced Creatures,” creating four identical monsters with varying levels of influence. This variant is particularly important for dust, as these monsters are one of the sources of resources related to character and equipment upgrade systems.
The most valuable variant is the appearance of the Echo Warden. The Echo Warden is a special, more powerful type of monster and constitutes the main reward in the system. It appears accompanied by 4 additional monsters. I haven’t experienced this type of raid myself yet, but according to my friends, it can be really difficult. If you’re leveling up on regular monsters, you’ll need to be especially careful during this raid. This raid also features a special flight where you can earn a lot of rewards. That’s why it’s the most sought-after by players.
Creatures summoned by the Echo Raid disappear after 10 minutes. This also applies to the Echo Warden.
Echo Raids are primarily an addition to hunting. They’re designed to introduce something unexpected into a regular session. A player kills monsters, moves around the hunting area, hears or spots an Echo Raid, activates it, and triggers a brief event: additional creatures, affected creatures, or an Echo Warden.
