Another Power Up Behind Me! Getting Closer to 500k Hive Power!

Another Power Up is behind me! The 500k Hive Power milestone is getting closer and closer. I only need a little less than 40k more to reach it, and then I'll finally be able to check another goal off my list!

Will I make it?

I honestly don't know. The last few weeks on the crypto market haven't been particularly good for me. After the liquidation I previously wrote about here on Hive, I experienced two more. Of course, they involved smaller amounts, but it still wasn't a very comfortable period for me.

I felt enormous pressure. I could see my cash reserves on the exchange slowly shrinking, while the margin for error was getting smaller and smaller. At one point, there was basically no room for mistakes left.

Fortunately, I've returned to trading exclusively Monero. This strategy seems to work best for me. It's the coin I understand the most, I feel more comfortable with its price movements, and I tend to make fewer mistakes when trading it. It's also not quite as volatile as some other cryptocurrencies, so I don't have to worry as much about my position getting liquidated within a single hour.

Now I'm going to focus on slowly rebuilding my portfolio so I can once again have a larger cash reserve to cover potential mistakes, while gradually working my way toward that long-awaited 500k Hive Power milestone.

Another question is whether all of this will actually pay off in the long run. Looking at the HIVE chart, I don't see much buying pressure. I just don't feel that strength in the market that would suggest better times are ahead of us.

But I'm trying not to think about it too much and simply keep doing my thing.

I like Hive. I enjoy spending time here. It makes me happy that I can create something of my own, share my thoughts, put my feelings and ideas down on "paper," and know that someone on the other side of the world might actually read them.

And I think that's exactly what keeps me here the most.

Despite constantly struggling to find free time, because there's always work, family, and everyday responsibilities, I somehow manage to find a little moment to stop by, write something, read a few posts, and see what's happening in our community.

Maybe that's what it's really all about?

Not just the price of HIVE, charts, and potential profits, but also the people we meet along the way and the place we're building together.
