Maybe we all know that of the many types of electronic devices that are at home or elsewhere, only irons whose cables are damaged the fastest among other types of electronic goods.

Why is that? The answer is that you try to see how an iron goes back and forth in its daily use, the movement of the iron is usually from end to end and then back again to the other end on clothes, often the occurrence of twisted wires.

So, the cable wrapping will be easily peeled off and can be dangerous if the wire is visible because the average current flows is 300v, which can endanger human life.

To overcome this, all you have to do is replace the ironing cable with a new one, and you can do this yourself at home.

You can get ironing cables at electronics stores for around 30 thousand Rupiah or $2 Us.

After buying a new cable, prepare a screwdriver to unscrew the screw on the cable cover.

After opening the cable cover, look for an open or detached cable as shown above, then unscrew the cable from the bolts that bind it.

After that, attach a new cable to the connector whose position is tied with a bolt, here you must really be able to make sure the bolt is firmly attached so as not to cause an electrical short.

When finished, put the cover back on the cable cover and put the bolt back in, after that try to turn on the iron if it wants to turn on again as usual.

If the iron turns on again, it means you managed to fix it like I did at home, good luck, but you have to be careful because the electric current from the iron is quite strong.
