Take Me Home?

Hi there!

This is a piece made back in 2018. For a couple weeks, I tried to make artworks as fast as I could, and as chaotically as I could. As in, starting from more or less abstract photos or parts of it, or just simple brushstrokes, and then evolving that into something that made sense.

So this is kind of a spontaneous thing, I'd no idea what I was going to do before I started. It took maybe 8 or 9 hours total, mostly one evening and the next one to add the final touches.

The problem with this workflow, at least for me, is that when it works it can be great, but it doesn't always work. From all those attempts I made a couple that I really like (will post the other one), one that is a bit meh, and the rest I couldn't get to anything I liked enough to spend the extra time on it.

When it's zoomed it it's easier to see that some parts are a bit rough even on the finished product.

Later on Paleo Gaming asked me to make some changes on the piece for their new tabletop, so I went back part of the process and continued from there. I used a Pokeball as the base for my sphere chamber. :D
