Head South

Hi there!
This is a personal artwork made back in 2017. At the time I was obsessed with improving my landscapes and this might be the one I like the most. The other I really love from that time is coming next.

Even though it was just an excuse for creating another landscape, I always try to add some storytelling elements.
Here are some close up shots. I guess specially the spaceship's detail is a bit lost in the full picture.

As usual with illustrations I made an animation to show the whole process in as many steps as I saved files for.
It was interesting to see it now as I didn't really remember all that well how I got the final result before I watched it.
That spike thing where the spaceship ended being certainly did not work at all. xD
