Mark Zuckerberg announced today that he is banning all cryptocurrency and ICO advertisements on Facebook. The reason expressed is that these markets are "financial products and services frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices."

I am not so sure there is more to this story. A few weeks ago Mark Zuckerberg made a long post in which he mentioned learning more about blockchain technology and potentially integrating it with Facebook. Not to mention the Litecoin rumblings going around the rumor mill about them working with Facebook.
