We are currently having flood conditions in Newport Beach/Balboa area. The peninsula east of me is also flooded and homes are being wrecked. This happens at high tide. The water drains back out at low ride. We had an over a week over very very hot weather. Today is ok but another heat wave is expected Friday through the weekend. One of the worst things about the heat is that it's very warm all night too. So far I'm lucky to not own a home in a storm surf high tide flood zone. Now if my health would improve that would be great for me. I have no photos of any of the waves or any of it really.
