Last weekend, my family and I traveled to Puchong to take care of some errands. We went out of our home at 10 am and finished our tasks around 1.30 pm. Once the errands were completed, my daughters requested that I bring them for a walk.
I honestly do not know where to bring my daughters. A few locations came to mind, but they were all far from our current location. While walking to our car, that is when I suddenly thought of the new Pavilion Bukit Jalil which was only 5 kilometers away.
Thankfully, the traffic was smooth. Traffic was light along the way to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. However, once we reached Pavilion Bukit Jalil, I can see a long line of cars waiting to get inside the basement parking entrance.
We queued for about 5 minutes before we were able to enter the basement parking. Then comes the next challenge. The parking spot from level B1 until level B3 was full. I need to go to the lowest level of the basement parking.
Since this is my first time going to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. I took a picture of the parking spot number that was displayed at the pillar. Then we proceeded to go to the shopping mall which is at level G.
While walking, we saw an exhibition named "Tokyo Town". My daughter was really excited to enter the exhibition. Before the exhibition entrance, there was a small stall that provided Yukata rental.
The rate of the rental was MYR10 for an hour. My daughters wanted to try out the Yukata. So I rented two Yukata for them. Then I was told that I need to put MYR50 as the security deposit. For two Yukata, I need to put MYR100 as the security deposit.
After paying for the rental and security deposit. The staff helps to put on the Yukata for my daughters. My eldest daughter picked a white and purple color Yukata. While my youngest daughter picked the pink color Yukata.
Having put on the Yukata, we entered the Tokyo Town exhibition. From outside the main entrance, it seemed there weren't many people inside. I can only see 5 to 6 people.
Upon entering, I observed several stalls selling Japanese street food, snacks, and souvenirs. However, their prices appeared to be quite high. A can of green tea, for instance, costs between MYR8 to MYR10
After spending about 30 minutes inside the exhibition, my daughter said that she is really hungry. So we left the exhibition and planned to get our lunch at the Chicken Rice Shop which is located at the ground level.
Before we make our move to the Chicken Rice Shop, we went back to the Yukata stall to return our rented Yukata and retrieve the security deposit. The amount used as the security deposit can be used to pay for our lunch.
