I haven't been active in engaging with the community these pass few days. My schedule was really tight until 28th of Jan 2022. I have a submission of an urgent project proposal that really need my attention and focus.
For time being, I have no choice, but to restrict my engagement and posting within ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY. I will occasionally try to post and engage whenever I can.
After being busy for the whole week, I felt that I need to spend some times with both of my daughters. So last Saturday, I went to Pasar Seni with them. I have no actual reason to to Pasar Seni. I just simply wanted to bring them to places other than shopping complex.
Unfortunately, @irmeyhamidi unable to join us, since she had a company event that she need to attend. So it is just me, my eldest daughter (
@rosyadah) and my youngest daughter (
@raihanah).
I park my car at my workplace area, because I want them to experience travelling to Pasar Seni using LRT. I gave 7.5USD to my eldest daughter for her to buy the LRT token. For my youngest daughter, I passed her the TnG card.
TnG cards are used as a mode of payment for highways, public transport, selected parking locations, retail and also theme parks. Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd was incorporated in October 1996 and launched its Touch ‘n Go services in March 1997 at the Metramac Highway and PLUS Expressways.: source link
From my workplace, we depart from Abdullah Hukum station, heading toward Pasar Seni station. Pasar Seni station is only 4 station away from my workplace. Time taken was around 15 minutes.
Once we arrived at Pasar Seni station, I ask both of my daughter to walk in front of me, and I ask them to always holding each other hand. Whatever it is, do not stray far away from me.
To be honest, I am a bit nervous. But I felt that day is a chance for them to learn about outside world. I also keep an eye out for them. I watched them closely and carefully.
At Pasar Seni, I saw an exhibition what was titled "KLStory Citizen Museum". Below is a bit of description about the exhibition:
KL Story: Citizens Museum is a semi-permanent exhibition here in Central Market that takes you on a visual journey of the old days of Kuala Lumpur through the historical personalities, heritage buildings and past trades that have left its mark on our city. Source Link
Both of my daughters really enjoy their time at the exhibition. The section that they really like was the 'Interactive Board' where they can write anything that they like on a sticky note, and then paste it on the Interactive Board.

I took few pictures at the exhibition. There was a lot of old pictures of familiar places in Kuala Lumpur, such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, Istana Negara, Central Market and many more.
Below is some of those pictures. Credits to KLWKND
