Last weekend I went again to Saloma Link for sole purpose of taking pictures of the place from multiple angles. This is because the last time I was there, the heavy rain has just stopped and the weather was not really suitable for photography session. The sky was cloudy and it is still drizzling.

The weather last weekend was perfect. It was sunny and dry during the afternoon. During night, the clear was clear and not cloudy. I reach there around 8PM, and I noticed visitors just started gathering at Saloma Link. If previously I am able to park nearby the entrance, this time, I need to park farther inside.
It was super crowded if to compared the last time I was there. There is even multiple wedding photo-shoot taken place. I can see the photographer are struggling with amount of visitor that night 😅. Well, they can always edit the picture in post-production.
I just got to know that Saloma Link LED lights has different lighting theme based on the festive season or public holiday.
For example, during Independence Day, the LED lighting theme was Malaysia national flag, and during Eid al-Fitr festive (or in local tongue; Hari Raya Aidilfitri ), the theme are changed to ketupat themed color; Green.
Ketupat is a Javanese rice cake packed inside a diamond-shaped container of woven palm leaf pouch. Originating in Indonesia, it is also found in Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and southern Thailand. I wanted to take a time-lapse picture or video, but I then realized I didn't bring the tripod with me in the backpack. It was in my car boot, and I don't want to go back to the parking lot for the sake of getting the tripod. Next time I need to put a checklist of items that I need to bring before coming to Saloma Link.
When I was there last weekend, there are no theme. Just the standard color that changes every few seconds. I have plan to go to Saloma Link during Christmas to see how the theme would look like.
