My daughters has been asking me to bring them again to Talam Cat Café for few times. The first time we went there was around 4 months back.My daughters really enjoyed their time there.
We went out from our house at 3pm. It was kinda late. We was supposed to go out straight away after lunch. But I fell asleep right before having lunch and woke up at 2.45 pm.
Before we went out, my wife has called the cat café staff and told them that we want to book a slot. We were lucky because there is only one slot left for 4.30 pm until 5.30 pm.
The traffic was a bit heavy. Typically, the drive from our house in Subang to the cat café inTaman Sri Rampai would take around 30 to 40 minutes. However, due to traffic, we arrived there at 4.30 pm. Just in time for out booked slot.
Once we reached the cat café, my wife straight away went to the cashier and pay for the entrance fee. The fee was set for MYR 10 per person. In total, we had to pay MYR 40 (approximately around USD10)
The cat café are divided into two section and each section are located at different floor. The ground floor is where the café is, and the cat gallery is on the third floor.
You need to take the lift to get to the third floor. The stairs are not available to be used as it has been barricade using steel grill at the first and second floor. I think this is to prevent the cat from going out of the third floor.
As soon as the lift door opened, we were greeted by these cute kittens. The kittens were lying down just in front of the lift. Looking at the size, I think the kittens is just few weeks old.
The kitten's mother was also there. In total, there are four kittens. I only manage to photograph three of them. The other one was hiding under the shoe rack.
During our last trip to the cat café, there was no kitten there.
I'm not sure whether it was just my feeling or the number of cat has increased compared to my last visit there. The place was crawling with cats from all group of ages and sizes.
As usual, the cats at the cat café were friendly. As I sit down, the cats would come close to me, and sit on my lap. The funny thing was, they would take turn sitting on my lap.
Apparently, we are the last appointment for that day. There was no one else at the cat café. We do not need to wait for turn to play with the cats. My daughters were so happy because they were surrounded by the cats.
We spent exactly one hour at the cat café. But for this trip, one hour was more than enough since we got to play with most of the cats. As usual, my daughters told me that they wanted to come to the cat café again next month. But they want to bring their nephew and niece together.
