The existence of evil spirits cannot be denied. Yes, they do exist. But they are not really as powerful as most people project them to be. There's a limit as to the level they can operate here on earth. Despite the power they have, it cannot be compared to the power of the living God.
When they are out on their missions it is always for no good. The seek to oppress. The Bible gives us some instance of people been oppressed by evil spirits. One example is a man in Gerasenes that was possessed with so many demons which referred to themselves as legion.
It is always a terrible situation for the victim. But they do not have full control to do as they like. But with the little power they have they can influence someone's actions. That's why we may encounter people who act really strange and we can't really help but wonder why they behave so. In assume cases it is possible that something else have taken hold over them.
There are certain actions we may do that make us to grant them permissions that we may not even be aware of. That is why we should be intentional on how we live our lives so that there will be no room for the enemy to come and mess up our lives.
