The bible teaches us that evil spirit are bad spirits which operates spiritually and doesn't have anything to do with our physical being unless we are not closer to God. In several passages, demonic activity is shown through influence, oppression, possession, and causing harm to a person’s mind or body. However, their ability to act is always under God’s authority and permission, as seen in the story of Job, where Satan could not go beyond the limits God set.
In biblical terms evil spirits operates in the spiritual realms, but they can operate physically with the help of wicked people. Their power is limited, and believers are encouraged not to live in fear, but in faith and spiritual authority through God. Protection is ultimately found in God’s presence, as Scripture repeatedly shows that spiritual forces must submit to Him.
