Couple of days ago, I have shared a post regarding relocation of our office, click here to check it out. Its fantastic move, cannot confirm at the moment if it’s right or wrong according to the situation or business in the country but will definitely give a boost to employees. New office will give new hopes, motivation and encouragement to achieve new goals.
I have always shared my opinion for my Boss in past blogs that he is a very nice guy and have a golden heart, takes good care of his employees and try to make everyone happy and satisfied which is impossible because there are always a bunch of people who will never be thankful instead cry on little little things LOL As per my experience and opinion, my current Boss and company is one of the best, very open environment and can suggest/advice things to upper management regarding any improvement or up gradation or any new idea.
The very next day in new office was a surprise for everyone. Each table was decorated and provided with company’s gift which contains a calendar, diary, pen, welcome note, cup coaster, Dairy Milk chocolate and a rose. It shows the interest and vision of the company for its employees. I feel this helps to get team back on track and work together in these hard times to achieve our new goals. I personally like the idea of these gifts to all the employees and it was a nice surprise. My teammate very delicately put the gifts together to catch a good image of it. I tried the same but sunlight played a little trick on it and didn’t get the best result.
On 11th Feb, the second day at new office was Saturday which is half day, casual day. As usual, me and my team wear company’s t shirt on Saturdays. Everyone was gossiping and busy in chit chatting, the hot topic is new office hehehe what are the problems and issues faced by different people and different thinking. Boss invited his family to the new office as well, all look so happy.
On this special day where Boss invited his family, we tried to make it more interesting and exciting through cake cutting ceremony. Two awesome cakes were ordered and arrived on time. All of us gathered near my station and invited Boss and his family to come and do the needful. Unfortunately, kitchen accessories were missing and we were busy for half an hour to find a knife for cake cutting ceremony. It was a funny moment where so much of work has been done but a single knife is missing. After a while, here comes the knife, I am not sure if it was ours or we lend it from someone.
Boss asked few seniors to cut the cake on behalf of whole team. These were some special moments, we were laughing, enjoying our time together, cakes were cut and then distributed amongst all of us. Both the Cakes were super delicious. One of the cake was for the son of our Boss, he was there for the first time, little Boss :P
We had a good time altogether and had a short speech from Boss too, I hope that new office brings more growth and profit to the company so we can get good appraisals and increments. Hope for the best!!!!
