January 2008 was 14 years ago - so before the Financial Crash and before Quantitative Easing.
The Federal Reserve may have got interest rates back to pre-crash levels, but they've only unwound a tiny bit of QE, taking them to Jan 2022 levels.
Given that a major cause of inflation is the expansion of the money supply via QE, can they really bring inflation down without reversing QE to Jan 2008 levels too?
