I'm in the UK - about 70% of the population is vaccinated with at least one dose. Everything is now open (thugh lots of people are still wearning masks out of personal choice). My feeling is that the pandemic

I was going to say that. Avoid people who are difficult to get along with. If they're your supervisor, then obviously you have to put up with it, but there is always the option of getting another job.
