Hello, dear Hive Open Mic family! I greet you, hoping that week 139 of this wonderful event will bring us many extraordinary samples of talent to the community, and presentations made with much affection, on the occasion of the theme "Work of True Love".
On this occasion, I want to present a cover of a song that speaks of the power of pure and true love, which transcends beyond distance and time. This piece of music called "La Playa" (The Beach) is performed by the Spanish rock-pop band La Oreja de Van Gogh, as part of the album El viaje de Copperpot, released in 2000.
True love has a positive and healing effect on people and acts in many ways. When we show unconditional affection above our own egos and somehow sacrifice part of ourselves for other people, we become part of something greater, a magical force that fills the universe with hope and faith, the force of love.

¡Hola, querida familia de Hive Open Mic! Les saludo, esperando que la semana 139 de este maravilloso evento nos traiga muchas extraordinarias muestras de talento a la comunidad, y presentaciones hechas con mucho cariño, en ocasión de la temática “Trabajo del Amor Verdadero”.
En esta ocasión, quiero presentarles el cover de una canción que habla del poder del amor puro y verdadero, que trasciende más allá de la distancia y del tiempo. Esta pieza musical llamada "La Playa" es interpretada por la banda de rock-pop española La Oreja de Van Gogh, como parte del Álbum El viaje de Copperpot, lanzado en 2000.
El amor verdadero tiene un efecto positivo y sanador en las personas y actúa de diversas formas. Cuando demostramos muestro cariño incondicional por encima de nuestros propios egos y de algún modo sacrificando parte de nosotros por otras personas, nos hacemos parte de algo mayor, de una fuerza mágica que llena el universo de esperanza y fe, la fuerza del amor.
