Talking about the season, currently the weather in my place is not at all friendly and difficult to predict, as I have experienced these past few days, in the morning it rains heavily, but during the day, the sun shines so hot, it's very confusing, that's it so on until today
I said that I had harvested star fruit, which I shared in the previous post, but before seeing that, I will invite you to see the latest upgrade of the plants in my front yard, as usual, we will see other orchids that have bloomed
These three beautiful orchids belong to the family Dendrobium it's just that the flower colors differ from one another, that's because these orchids are flowers that have been married cross or hybrid, then different forms and variations appear, even though all the orchids that are blooming above are the same type of orchid,
Other orchids also seem to be in bloom, but I have already told about them, so this time I will not discuss that anymore, the grass that I cut some time has also started to turn green, and also some weeds have started to grow under my building this, and well, I'm going to share my vine development, which is basically what this building is for the vine
One of the vines has developed quickly, its growth has not been hampered at all even though the weather is not normal, this makes me very excited and hope to get satisfactory results in the future, but some of the small grapes that I planted recently still haven't shown significant growth, because of that I didn't photograph them for this time, maybe in the next post
Oh yes, do you still remember about the orchids that my mother gave me onions before, they have now put out beautiful roots and are ready to flower, I saw them hanging on the longan tree today, here's the picture
Look at those roots, isn't it very beautiful, but I don't know why they are hanging here, I also don't understand what that means, what is certain is that whatever my mother does, everything is for the good of these orchids themselves, and also to produce extraordinary flowers , I can not wait for this beauty
Now we will move on to other plants, which are next to the house, two days ago, it rained in our area in the morning, and as soon as the rain stopped, I started wandering around to find out the state of my plants, but nothing was a problem, and look at what I found, several types of taro that were flooded with rain
This is Anthurium crystallinum which is also a taro family, which turns out to be very beautiful at a moment like this, the raindrops are still clearly visible and unfortunately, according to as far as I know this ornamental plant is one of the poisonous plants, but it won't be dangerous if you just look at it, and keep it away from children
Monstera adansonii Is an ornamental flower that was very viral some time ago, even at that time the price could reach hundreds of millions of rupiah, and that didn't make sense to me, indeed this flower looks beautiful and charming, but for such an expensive price it's a little excessive, and now that these flowers are not viral anymore, they don't look special anymore, but their beauty is still very captivating
Euphorbia bracteata Is a plant that is produced from agricultural science, but I don't know for sure for this plant, while the other two pictures are of the same type as the previous taro, it's just that the flowers haven't bloomed yet, and on this side we can still enjoy the beauty of these flowers whether it's raining or the sun is shining, it won't reduce the beauty value of all the flowers above
Enough about flowers, now we will see the other side of the garden where I harvested star fruit some time ago, but before that, I will show you how hot it is here, even I am very lazy to clear my land
Look at that, you won't believe me if I say that we are experiencing the rainy season, the sun is shining very bright and the heat is scorching, even though in the morning it rained heavily, and suddenly it turned like this, I originally wanted to clean up the long grass, but I'm really helpless under the sun like this, luckily there is a banana tree that can almost be harvested, it gives me a little enthusiasm to be in this land
Well, here comes the star fruit vegetable tree that I harvested, some time ago the fruit was very dense and covered the whole tree, and now my mother is drying them all to make seasoning, I will show you the process of drying this star fruit vegetable
The drying process takes about a week, depending on the weather, and the first is, all the star fruit are covered with plastic and dried in the sun until the color changes from green to orange, and after that the plastic is opened, and it is dried again and sprinkled with salt, until the color changes to brown, then keep in the sun again until the brown color turns black and sprinkled with salt again, the photo above is the steps and process of this drying stage
Well, if it dries up, then it can already be used for cooking seasoning, and this is only in aceh, not in other areas in Indonesia, almost all typical aceh dishes use this ingredient, and here we call it ASAM SUNTI and the price on the market today is expensive, because not many people plant and dry star fruit anymore, maybe they are getting lazy and prefer to buy, but that doesn't apply in my family, if we have what to buy, isn't that all my friends
