Hello, garden and agriculture lovers, this is my first post in this community though I had already posted on other communities about my backyard. I think, I found the best and most appropriate place to post about it.
Let me start, my house backyard is not very big like 10 meters long and 6 meters wide. It only has soil on the sides and at the end, but this small soil area is very well optimized and I'm planning to gain a bit more. It is a mixture of some fruits and ornamental plants what I have. Well let me start:
Well, we currently have four banana trees of different varieties which I wouldn't be able to name.
These just came out like two weeks ago and are growing very well:
This one is almost ready to be harvested and my wife says to leave it a bit longer as they can get a bit fatter. These bananas we use it to fry till crispy or boil it. In our area we call them in Spanish "platano macho"
In this case, the tree degenarated and we won't collect big sweet bananas, anyway I let it grow. See behind a little corner where we keep four hens and a rooster:
I also have an avocado tree which gives me quite a few huge avocados. We share them with family, friends and neighbors:

We also have a lime tree. This year it diminished a bit the amount of fruits. Next year I'm sure it'll yield more as it is biennal.
Other plants for the use in the kitchen we have are spinach, oregano and peppers:
In future posts, I'll show more plants we have, including my work at a friend's farm. Hope you liked it and thanks for the read. Let's eat organic.
