Hello Hivers
Hello plant lover friends wherever you are, how are you, everything is fine right, this time I will share some of my plants that have entered the harvest period, some of which I actually harvested some time ago, but at that time I did not have time share because I have a lot of things to do, but some of them I will show you now, let's start exploring the plantation area that is in my house
We start from the yard next to the house, where I use the empty land there to plant a few stems of cucumber suri which is a seasonal fruit and only available during the fasting month, because I have there is a lot of empty land, so I prefer to plant it myself rather than buying it on the market at a high price
During the fasting month as it is now, cucumber suri is one of the most coveted fruits by the public because it tastes unique and different from other cucumbers, the texture of the fruit is soft and has fruit flesh similar to a pumpkin, when harvesting later I will definitely share it with you. maybe it will be about 20 days from now, at this time my cucumber suri is already more than one month old and some of them have already released fruit
Not far from the location of the cucumber suri, a longan tree also seems to have issued such dense flowers, even some of the branches have borne fruit, and this afternoon I also had time to close some of the fruit so that bats wouldn't eat it, but I haven't closed all of them yet, the other day so hot it makes me a little weak, especially today I'm fasting
This longan is one of the youngest longans of several trees that I have, but at the moment it's the only one that is bearing fruit, the other longans are still in the stage of turning young leaves, and usually will bear fruit after their new leaves are formed, maybe that's also the influence of the bad weather, uncertain lately
While closing the longan fruit, something caught my attention, a praying mantis was seen playing in the longan flower馃槄
This praying mantis turned out to like longan flowers, he even glanced at me several times when I teased him, but after several attempts he finally gave up and decided to go with me me, I took him around to look at some of the other plants
Turning to the back of the house, where I have some tomatoes and chilies that I planted in polybets, and you can see that some of my tomatoes have produced fruit which will also be harvested soon
The hot weather makes the tomato leaves a little dry, but this doesn't affect the fruit, the tomatoes still look fresh and fine
Between the tomatoes, I also placed some red chilies which have also flowered, maybe they will bear fruit in a few days, I no longer plant chilies directly in the ground for now, because the weather is still not normal and it is difficult to care for them.
Seeing this plant, I remembered the post @minismallholding a few days ago in which there was a post about balcony plants, I was a little inspired to start, and can my tomatoes also be categorized as balcony plants馃槄
Forget that, I will show you balcony plants next time when I have made it, now I will show you other plants in the backyard
Unfortunate fate befell my white bottle guava, one of its branches was struck by lightning and died, some fruit also fell after that incident, even though the guava had not yet been harvested and was still in its fruiting period, even so, it seemed that it would recover, because I saw nothing fatal impacting the tree
So, those are some plants that are ready to be harvested in a while, but before saying goodbye I will share some pictures of beautiful looking flowers that are all over my house.
There is only one orchid that blooms this time, and it is also the same type as the orchid that I shared in the previous post, it's just that the color is a little different, this time it's the purple and white orchid that accentuates its beauty, and of course I really like to see the beauty that this orchid has
This is an ornamental cypress that I placed in my front yard, where I built a steel frame building there to plant grapes, I placed two ornamental cypresses right in front of the building and are currently thriving and looking beautiful, the leaf shape is unique but very soft to the touch
This is a flower Hippeastrum striatum which is known as a lily in our area, this flower can grow easily and does not require special care, besides he will also survive longer than other similar flowers
The shape of the flower and the color of this lily are no less interesting, it has the beauty of a single flower which is enough to make anyone stunned when they see it, at the same time it will also be the closing of our meeting this time, thank you and see you soon
