HELLO HIVERS
This is my first post in this community, I'm @roronoa46 I want to say hello to everyone, I hope you all have a nice day
This time I want to share about some of the plants in my yard
Gardening is an activity that I usually do, at first I didn't really like gardening but some of my yards are now full of my mother's plants, over time I also got involved in the world of plants due to certain factors
One thing is for sure that I have learned from gardening, the taste of the fruit from what we plant is very different from what we buy in the market, either by coincidence or as it should be and in my opinion, fruit that is picked straight from the tree will never go away. can be replaced with fruit sold in the market
I have dozens of types of plants at home, ranging from flowers, guava, coconut and several others
A few stems of tomatoes in my backyard, I don't think it's a bad idea, this vitamin-rich plant belongs to a type of vegetable that must be used every day for cooking (in Indonesia I mean)
Even though I don't have a large tomato garden, at least I have a few stems, and use hundreds of yards of yard for other plants
I think in Indonesia growing tomatoes is a must, because it is a staple for everyday life and at least to save a little on groceries in the market
This type of plant is the most abundant in my house and coincidentally there are two types that are bearing fruit
Both are the same type of honey guava and they are the result of a cross, clearly visible from the short shape of the tree, but the fruit is very large and fresh
The taste of these two types is also different, the white one tastes sour, and the red guava tastes sweet without the slightest sour taste
Tropical weather where I live is the best habitat for this plant, besides that guava water is also often used as a sport to make fruit salad which is a typical snack from several regions in Indonesia.
This afternoon I picked some young mangoes to make salad
Rujak is a mixture of various types of fruits such as bananas, mangoes, quaini, mancang, cucumber, guava, rumbia fruit, and many other types, which are cut into pieces and mixed together with special spices.
In my place, the business of selling RUJAK can be said to be a profitable business considering the likes of the people here about the food, especially women.
I also have a red srikaya tree, this fruit also has a lot of vitamin content which is said to be very beneficial for the health of the human body
But I don't like this fruit, the sweet taste is so amazing that it sticks to the throat which makes me not like this fruit, but I also keep growing it because this plant is already classified as a rare species and there are still many people who like it
As I said before, Indonesia has a tropical climate, there is no autumn or spring here, there is only the rainy season and the dry season and coconut is a mandatory plant for the tropics.
If you go to Indonesia, especially in rural areas, you will find coconut trees in every resident's house
Well, for gardening here there is no specific time to plant something, in the rainy season we do not need to water the plants while in the dry season we only need to water it and water sources are very easy to find in almost all corners of Indonesia, so there is no reason for you if you want to garden here
Enough here, our meeting this time, see you in the next post
THANK YOU 🙏
