Centralized Authority or Decentralized? Which One You Want?

Daniel was a Prophet of God the story is in the Christian Bible. Out of all the things he did, I want to highlight one. The open windows while he prayed.

He would pray 3 times a day. He would bow down on his knees, but would have his windows open. He did not cared that people would see him.

Why did he open the windows when he prayed? To get fresh air? To show the ones outside looking that he was pious?
I want to address another very important fact. The authority of his time was Nebuchadnezzar was the ruler during Daniels time. The ruler or as we call it today, the government, the dictator, king, president, queen, etc.
So what you say? Well, the authority demanded something unique. The ruler had sent out a decree. It was, “Nobody would worship other gods, other figures, and mainly no one could worship Creator. Nebuchadnezzar demanded from everyone to worship him only. You see, Nebuchadnezzar had built a statue that looked like him, making all humans bow to him as if he was god, as if he was the Creator.
Daniel the Prophet only obeyed and worshipped his Creator. His only source of life and salvation. Daniel a true son of God, knew that true worship and obedience is given only to the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. To the one that created all things and rested on Sabbath, the 7 day of the week. Exodus 20:8
