Might as well of been bombed to shit in the second world war for all I care.
Kassel is located at the goegraphical centre of Germany in the state of Hesse and has the Fulda river running through it.
located on a mountain overlooking the town is the amazing Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe park which houses the Hercules Monument, a huge stone structure named and shaped like an octogon built based on the design of the Italian Giovanni Francesco Guerniero. which has a huge copper statute of Hercules standing on top of a pyramid.
One can only wonder for what esoteric reason this was built.
I can say it was bloody cold up there!
