Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
It's time for another #Splinterlands card spotlight, and today I wanted to talk about a card that I don't see people discussing very often.
Today's card is Blue Wyrm Travesty.
At first glance it doesn't really look like anything special. It's only a Common Water unit, so a lot of players might just ignore it while chasing Epic or Legendary cards.
But after looking at its abilities, I actually think this monster has a pretty unique role. Sometimes support monsters are way more important than big damage dealers, and I think this is one of those cards.
Let's have a closer look.
The artwork on this card is honestly really cool.
It looks like some kind of undead dragon that escaped from another world. Definitely one of my favorite card arts among the common monsters.
Stat wise, it has decent Health and Armor which means it can survive longer than some other support units.
It isn't built to carry your team with huge damage.
Instead, it helps the rest of your monsters perform better.
Sometimes those kind of cards become the real MVP without getting much attention.
Slow: -1 speed to all enemy units.
The first ability is Slow.
This ability reduces the Speed of all enemy units by 1.
It may sound like a small effect, but Speed is actually really important in #Splinterlands.
Going first often decides who wins the battle.
Slower enemies miss more attacks and your own monsters usually get their turns first.
I've lost plenty of games because my opponent attacked before me, so having Slow available can really make a difference.
It's one of those abilities that quietly helps your entire team.
Invigorate: Allied units cannot be Exhausted.
The second ability is Invigorate.
This ability prevents allied units from becoming Exhausted.
It's not something that comes into play in every single match, but in battles where Exhaust mechanics matter, this can become extremely useful.
I actually like abilities that prepare your team for special situations instead of only increasing damage.
It gives this card a bit more value than people might first think.
Sometimes one support ability is enough to completely change a battle.
Personally, I think Blue Wyrm Travesty fits best in slower control-style teams.
The Slow ability supports every monster on your side.
Meanwhile Invigorate protects your team whenever Exhaust mechanics are involved.
I probably wouldn't build an entire team around this card, but I can definitely see myself adding it whenever I need extra utility.
Being a Common card also makes it easier for many players to level compared to some expensive Legendary monsters.
That's always a nice bonus.
Overall, I think Blue Wyrm Travesty is a nice little support card that deserves a bit more attention.
It won't be the monster everyone gets excited about when opening packs, but it brings useful utility that can help your whole team.
The combination of Slow and Invigorate makes it an interesting choice, especially if you enjoy building balanced teams instead of just stacking high damage monsters.
I also really like the design of the card. It has that dark dragon look that fits perfectly with #Splinterlands' art style.
Will it become one of my favorite Water cards? Maybe not.
But I definitely wouldn't mind having it in my collection and trying it out in different lineups.
Anyway thats it for today鈥檚 #Splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
