Hello friends How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing well. So today I am back with a new Splinterlands post. Today I have reviewed a Water Splinter card which belongs to the Undead. Its mana cost is 13 which is a high mana cost. So we can say that it is a high mana creature. I mainly reviewed this card because of its attack power because its attack is 9 which is very high. The name of this card is Blue Wyrm Travesty. So now let's review it.
First let's talk about its stats. At max level its mana cost is 13. Its attack is 9 and it is a melee attacker. Its speed is 5. Its armor is also 5 and its health is 12. Its melee attack is very impressive as I said. Its speed and armor are also quite good. Its health is also very good because 12 health is very high. So overall its stats are very good.
Now let's talk about its abilities. At maximum level it has two abilities. Slow and Invigorate.
First let's talk about the Slow ability. Because of the Slow ability the speed of all monsters on the enemy team is reduced by one point. This ability is very useful because when the enemy team's speed becomes lower you get a chance to attack first. This is because their speed is lower and your speed is higher. Blue Wyrm Travesty already has 5 speed which is very good speed. So if it reduces the enemy's speed by one point it can give you a chance to attack first.
Now let's talk about the Invigorate ability. Because of this ability allied units cannot become Exhausted. This ability may not be as useful as Slow in normal battles. But it can be very valuable in situations with Exhaust mechanics. So Invigorate is a situational ability which can make Blue Wyrm Travesty more successful in specific combinations and rulesets.
Now let's talk about its best position. Which position allows it to use its abilities properly? In my opinion the best position for Blue Wyrm Travesty is the first position. The reason is simple. It is a melee attacker and its attack is 9. So we should keep it in the first position so it can directly attack the enemy's frontline monster. Its armor and health are also quite good. So it can easily survive frontline damage.
However in some situations it can also be placed in the second position. For example if an ability of another monster allows it to attack from the second position then keeping it in the second position can also be a good choice. But normally the first position is the best for it.
Now let's talk about its weaknesses. The biggest weakness is its mana cost. Its mana cost is very high. So we can only play it in high mana battles. We cannot use it in low mana battles. Another weakness is that it has only a few abilities. It has only two abilities. For a 13 mana card I think it should have three or four abilities. Other than this I don't think it has any other major weakness.
Now let's talk about my overall opinion. Overall I found this card quite strong because its stats are very good and its abilities are also quite good. Out of these two abilities my favorite is Slow. It slows down all the enemy monsters by one point which is very useful. Its health and armor are also good so it can survive for a long time. Its attack is also 9 which is really powerful.
So if I want to rate it out of 10 I would give it a 9.5. Because I really found this card very strong. Yes I am taking off 0.5 points because its mana cost is high. If its mana cost was around 10 then I would give it 10 out of 10.
