Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today I wanted to talk about another card that really caught my attention recently.
And that card is Bera Dallin, a legendary Life unit.
Honestly, the first thing that stood out to me wasn't even the abilities.
It was the stats.
I meanโฆ 14 health and 7 armor? That's already scary.
And after looking at the abilities, I kinda understood why this card can become such a pain to deal with.
Bera Dallin costs 11 mana, so she isn't cheap.
But for that price you get:
3 melee attack
7 armor
14 health
4 speed
Those are some serious tank stats.
At first I thought she was just another defensive card.
But then I noticed something interesting.
She actually hits pretty hard too.
And because of her abilities, she becomes even more dangerous.
Armored Strike: If armored, gains a melee attack that deals damage equal to remaining armor.
This ability is crazy.
As long as Bera has armor, she gains an extra attack equal to her remaining armor.
Which means having 7 armor isn't just protectionโฆ
It's also damage.
That's honestly pretty cool.
Taunt: Draws the attacks of enemy units.
Everything gets directed toward her.
Enemy attacks will focus on Bera instead of your backline.
This gives support cards and damage dealers more time to do their job.
Sometimes having a Taunt card can completely change a battle.
Shield: 50% less damage from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power.
Physical damage gets reduced by 50%.
So melee and ranged attackers won't have an easy time taking her down.
Combined with 7 armor and 14 healthโฆ
Yeah, she can survive for a long time.
Void Armor: Magic damage hits armor before health.
Magic attacks hit armor first instead of health.
And this is where things get really annoying for the opponent.
Normally magic ignores armor, but not against Bera.
So even magic teams have to work extra hard.
Honestly, Bera Dallin feels like a complete package.
She protects the team.
She absorbs damage.
She deals damage back.
And she doesn't really have an obvious weakness.
Physical attackers struggle because of Shield.
Magic attackers struggle because of Void Armor.
And Taunt forces enemies to focus on her.
That's kinda insane.
After looking at Bera Dallin, I honestly think she is one of the toughest legendary Life cards around.
The combination of Taunt + Shield + Void Armor + Armored Strike makes her both defensive and offensive at the same time.
She isn't just standing there taking hits.
She can actually punish opponents while protecting the rest of the team.
And honestlyโฆ
Cards like this are the reason I enjoy #Splinterlands so much.
Sometimes one card can completely change the flow of a battle.
And Bera Dallin definitely feels like one of those cards.
