When Keitha Was a Little Girl She Brought Enough Gum for the Whole Class to Share, Unlike the Billionaire Class That Needs to Choke on Its Gum 2026. Oil transfer (and painting) on paper, 12 x 16"
For those who missed the Black Ivory podcast this week and are itchin’ for some friendly free competition, note that I am in an eBay auction contest with @jompiy (Edgeworth Johnstone). Emma was supposed to participate, but brought paintings to show instead.
We ask viewers to predict what each work will go for (if anything) at the end of the 7 day auction. Winner gets free art with free shipping delivered to his/her/them door. We had two viewers today. They both guessed the same for each of us:) So they both get free art. To keep our postage costs down (we pay for shipping), any UK winners will receive Edgeworth art. Any U.S. winners get mine.
Please join us next week at 2 p.m. New York time (7 p.m. London). We’ll give our pitch for the painting to be auctioned, and all you need to do is guess what each will fetch after a week of auctioning. During following week’s podcast we’ll announce the winner. I just realized we’ll have to figure a way to get player’s contact information without being public about it.
Tune in every Thursday at 2 p.m. U.S. Eastern Standard Time (7 p.m. U.K.) for your chance at free art!
I don’t want to sell work on Ecency, so this is a one time post for you to get acquainted with the contest. Here are Edgeworth and my links to the eBay auction. I have never succeeded with eBay, and I don’t expect to now, which gives me power.
My Entry This is my 1st ever oil transfer drawing based on my mother Keitha’s doodles.
Thank you!
And here is today’s podcast:
