In that afternoon, he stood there looking at this white house. The house that white house that shouts luxury just by looking at it. The open balcony in the top with few chairs to sit. The ground floor with an open area that is just few steps down the stairs from the front pool. There are plenty of relaxation chairs and the house is occupied with many windows. He said to himself it was expensive. But, worth it. He remembers his dreams when he was only 18 years old of living in a mediocre house. He did not see himself making enough to get this house. He still has to make a monthly payment to the loan. But, he owns it now and that all that matters. He said to himself, not everyone would even dream of getting something that beautiful. He stood for a while, just staring at the house to realize at the end that, what was expensive was not the house itself. The real expense was to live someone else's dream and have others' words and believes determine how his life should be lived. He realized that, he substituted living his own life, with meeting others' expectations.

Naquela tarde, ele ficou ali parado, observando a casa branca.
