"Strolling Davao City & Simple Family Dinner In The Famous Roxas Night Market"
Happy Friday Asean Hive Community! Hope all is well with you all today and you live life to fullest. Today, let me share with you another Vlog from Our Davao Trip last summer.
We tried to make our vacation worth the time, the budget and make more memories that would last a lifetime. One of our purposes is to release stress , make bonds with my sister together with her family and recharge ourselves. Not only do I need to recharge but also my daughters from the busy days in school. Doing their activities, performance tasks, portfolio, assignments and exams. Not to mention the group project and so on and so forth.
Davao is a nice peaceful place and a beautiful clean City in Mindanao. We decided to make strolling many places like SM LANANG just window shopping with the family.
We also visited the Cathedral which amazed me because the City council of Davao was across only from the Catholic Cathedral. One thing that I like in Davao is the discipline. You cannot see garbage everywhere. Traffic rules are implemented accordingly.
Before we make our vacation I have heard from social media about the Roxas Night Market in Davao. We got tired and felt hungry after our stroll in different places.So after the Sun went down we decided to explore their famous night market.
The entrance gate has police officers doing the checking. Right after we got inside, we saw the different delicacies, their famous Durian candies next was the different street foods.
famous DURIAN CANDIES
Different delicacies
street foods
Famous Tuna PANGA OR { Tuna FISH JAW}
THEY HAVE lechon belly but because we live in Cebu and Cebu has the best letchon we do not order.
In Davao their famous street food is the Tuna PANGA OR Tuna JAW, another one is the Tuna belly. If you visit Davao, do not miss to try Tunga jaw or Tuna belly cooked either grilled or cooked as a soup. You might get confused about what to eat because of the many choices in front of you.
We ordered pork and chicken barbeque, tuna Jaw, rice, water and soft drinks. In fairness, their foods are tasty. We ate together and enjoyed the food. Simple dinner but filled with love as a family. I am glad that we went to Roxas night market in Davao city. Then we headed to exit because there are costumers waiting for us to be finished eating so they could eat too. Mine you! The entrance and exit of their night market has police making sure people's safety.
