Hi, I'm @romeskie and I'm a hive-aholic.

Just trying to be funny. I believe I'm a bit late for the 30 day blogging challenge but I'd still like to join in. My username is actually pretty simple, it's just my name, nothing really special about it.
I am a Marketing graduate and one of the subjects I loved most in school was Brand Management. Maybe because our professor in that subject was really strict or maybe just because I loved reading the materials he gave us. In Brand Management, we are taught how to create a brand.
Applying the Rules of Branding
Let's just say I applied some of the rules in making a brand when I came up with my username. One of the rules says that the brand (username) should be as simple as possible. Imagine Coca Cola, Target, Disney, Colgate, and all other brandnames you can easily pronounce and remember. The strategic selection of their brands helped them keep their brands at the top. They kept it simple to make it convenient for their marketing strategies. Not that I am planning to be one of the top brands, (I'm not even a brand), but I just like applying what I learn sometimes.
Sentimentality
Another reason I chose @romeskie as my username was because my colleagues back at work used to call me with that name. It's has become an endearment and I have gotten used to the sound of it that's why it was the first thing in my mind when I created my account.
I was lucky that I did not need a numerical value to my username. That's actually one of the rules when creating a brand name. I remember my first email address and usernames when I first got introduced to the wonders of the internet. I used to be enilemor. And as though that wasn't a mouthful already, I became enilemor03. Then it became belinesh03 which was composed of the jumbled letters from my ex's and my name. HAHA!
Heed my word, don't ever ever ever EVERA include your current partner in your username. Once you break up, at least you have one thing less to worry about getting rid of. Take it from me. I had to transfer files from my old yahoo account just because things did not go well with the two of us. That's 10 years worth of ebooks, photos, etc.
Aside from the simplicity of my username, and how it sounds to my ears, that's the story about the @romeskie username. There are a lot of things to consider when choosing your username. As for me, I went for sentimentality and simplicity.
