I believe this monthly accounting / accountability is vitally important. Accustomed to this over my long professional career, I am definitely biased. But ... Those who are backing your project should find great value in learning they can expect to hear from you on the overall "health" of the project on a monthly basis.

For me personally, I will be interested in seeing if you wish to provide your perspective on the most profitable, yet still sustainable, manner in which to invest.
