As I said on yesterday post, A monthly post with PWR stats was due.
Hive Power Ventures and the $PWR token are nearing the end of their first month of operation and I thought it would be interesting to get into the habit of doing a small monthly report with a few statistics that might be of interest to holders and delegators.
Some of the numbers I want to put on the table are the amount of circulating PWR, the Hive Power held by the project and the amount of PWR repurchased and subsequently added to the Hive Engine pool.
Let's start with the most important number:
As expected, the amount of PWR issued during the first month was to be magnitudes higher than the cumulative Hive Power (very shy under there in the chart).
PWR Circulating = PWR minted - PWR on @empo.issuer;
For 170 Hive Power accumulated under the @vventures account, more than 14K PWR have been issued on the first month.
Remember, only Hive Power on @vventures is counted. Not pending curation rewards, not HP on
@empo.voter.
Curation rewards are slow and powering down is even slower. The 13 week powerdown limit how much Hive can be unstaked weekly, and this number is up only as long weekly curation rewards exceeds weekly unstaking.
For a weekly 175 HIVE power down (currently), @empo.voter is adding +100 HIVE/day and almost 3K HP are there waiting to be unstaked.
100% of all HIVE received from curation rewards, is being powered up for now.
Another awesome number:
This basically means that votes are being spreaded everywhere, with a multiple range of weights (it's casting daily dozens of 1-10% votes) with almost perfect efficiency.
The curation proxy is working better than expected and with +550K HP delegated is already a 'proxy whale'.
Thanks once again to all the delegators!
Although I must admit that I have played an important role in it (haven't sold personally a single token and added all of my rewards to the pool), liquidity is growing very fast and is currently at 17K HIVE.
In next reports I'll probably add another chart with the 'liquidity under control' of the project itself to measure buybacks.
+90% of the time all the delegators were able to sell all of his rewards for +0,9 HIVE/PWR, making the 'real' APR for the first month an awesome 18%.
This APR is set to drop in a few days down to 16%. Numbers will look far more sustainable in 5 more months when APR drops down to 12%. That's when will be 'increasingly' easier to reach an equilibrium point.
For now my mission is to sustain the pool while the project itself accumulates. Overall everything is looking very good and I'm pleased with it.
Thanks delegators, holders and readers for your support.
I guess that's all for this first report. Any doubt, shoot!
