SHINE ON SHRINERS

We had a wonderful time last night with The Khedive Shriner's band. I had been asked to fill in on the drums.
I was concerned about how my electronics would mesh, and even my ability to sight read.
It had been a while for reading the music. Although rusty,
I could still read enough to hang in there. We played a range from Glenn Miller to Bob Seger, even Brooks and Dunn. The money goes to charity which is even better. Lord know's you can't make a buck playing like you used to. All the best looking people were put on the left side. My wife and Son were there and afterwards we went to a late dinner with Sondra and Rich, great friends that had asked me to participate. Thank you both! It looks like there will be more of these down the pike. Yee haa! I want to wear a fez. :)
