Hello dear friends of Hive, I am very happy to be able to belong to this community and to be able to see your creations and read other very interesting topics in the community. I really like to be able to make things and especially cars, planes and boats. Today I am going to explain you the elaboration of a formula-1 car that I have made with recycled materials. This cart is made from popsicle sticks, Popsicle sticks and soda caps that I had at home, decorated with the flag of my country Venezuela and a bee that I drew to be the pilot of the Hive cart.

I am going to explain the materials used and the procedure.

alt

MATERIALS USED !

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Cold silicon
  • Soda caps
  • Colors
  • Black and white cold paint
  • Black tissue
  • Exact
  • Tubing
    alt

PROCEDURE

STEP 1

alt

Join the popsicle sticks with the cold silicone. then place a popsicle on top of the ones that are lying down and draw a line with the pencil exactly where the blue popsicle sticks end. then cut out the popsicle sticks with the exact one.

alt

apply the silicone and glue the paddle to the width. Then glue two paddles lengthwise as shown in the picture.

Step 2

alt

Then turn the pallet board upside down and draw two straight lines with the help of the ruler as shown in the picture.

Step 3

alt

Then cut out with the exacto those straight lines, and then also cut the peak or the tip of the board.

Step 4

alt

alt

Take a pallet and cut out a piece of it, to form the rear wing of the cart.

Step 5

alt

alt

Take two pallets to form the top part of the spoiler, draw a figure similar to a rhomboid. These two will be glued on the little board.

Step 6

alt

Then cut another small board or popsicle stick to glue it on top of the two rhomboids.

Step 7

alt

alt

Then also form the front wing with a small board and two slanted slats on the top. These are glued with the cold silicone and pressure is applied to wait for it to dry.

Step 8

alt

To make the wheels I took a toothpick that is inserted in the middle of two soda caps and then put the teipe on it. So that the wheels can roll. Two rectangles and some doors are made to function as the direction of the wheels and that will make the wheels rotate.

alt

This is how they should be glued to the board of the cart.

Step 9

alt

Then glue 3 paddles to form a board and cut them out and glue them on the board.

alt

alt

On the front of the cart you will also glue a small board to form the pilot housing.

Step 10

alt

Then I glued three boards together and cut them at an angle. On the front I drew the Hive logo.

alt

alt

I also drew several lines over the wheels to form the shape of the tires.

alt

I wanted to make a pilot to put it in the cart and I drew a little bird.

Thank you for reading, I hope to continue improving!
