I was led to believe that I would find some intelligence on this planet but, forgive me, either I am looking in the wrong academies or, it has also left with the Uarkos! I cannot believe that controlling bodies - posing as governments and leading institutions - cannot find solutions to the most simple problems! All of the required resources are at hand and with a little determined effort - coupled with a a little sincere interest - all of the world's problems could quite easily be overcome. Ja, again I know, it's the greed and the selfishness. If we could eradicate these little members of the forces of negativity and, might I say, evil?, we would quickly overcome every obstacle which continues to thwart our progress. It was so evident to me this morning again when, after having to once again kill an hour whilst waiting for my landlord to attend to his business, I mosey'd on to the a.t.m. to collect a statement and, lo and behold I watched in awe as no less than two apparent patrons tried to gippo the a.t.m. by making a counterfeit deposit, to then make an immediate withdrawal, I kid you not. I watched with a tad of amusement, mingled with my utter astonishment and amazement, as they actually tried and tried again, each time repeating the same stupid act. I looked around for a security guard and, again to my amazement, I noticed one standing about three metres away, watching with apparent concern. I nodded my head at him and then to the fun happening at the a.t.m., to which he nodded back with a mischievous grin on his dial. They did not come right and he appeared to commiserate with then as they all clicked their tongues and smacked the machine before retreating, undoubtedly to find a more considerate or, compliant machine. I then walked up to the machine and stuck my card in and completed my transaction without ado and then, in an updated frame of Africamind, I slowly walked away, not even bothering to shake my head again. Africa Addio, again!
