We all are guilty of a little tardiness from time to time. But, when it becomes akin to slothfulness it becomes a problem. The secret or, trick, is to perfect everything! This begins with the order of yourself within your own home. The condition of one's home or, living environment, is a direct reflection of one's state of mind and can betray one's most inner thoughts. When finishing a cup of something or, completing a little chore, try to immediately clean up and, once this has become an ingrained habit, the other items in and around your life should begin to line up as well. It can be very unnerving to arrive home only to find the dishes standing in or on the sink, uncleaned. Or, when wanting to wash the car, discovering that the buckets and chamois' etc. are still dirty from the wash last week. These are extremely trivial examples but, if tended to with the correct amount of zest and zeal, the other bigger items generally begin also to take shape. Whenever I wash anything, I always wash or clean the receptacle and the rags or brushes immediately afterwards, thus enjoying a more fulfilling break/rest later on. Untidiness also reflects negatively on your own personal state of mind. When visitors note a dirty home they are less likely to return for another visit and are also less likely to invite you around as well. Even a taxi which is cleaner will find more passengers than a dirty one. Neatness is as the same and is akin to cleanliness. I, to the astonishment of my neighbors, wash everything - including the dogs bedding - weekly, as I believe that it is as important as keeping my own clean too. I pick the dogs turds up daily and wash their feeding bowls regularly as well. (I hear you - "you don't say.") Well, I cannot believe how many homes I come across with bowls which are caked with old grime, slime, and hard mud, I think? And the water bowls with a little brown stuff at the bottom, begging - in vain - to be drunk. Yes, I am somewhat of a pedant and am not ashamed to be so. For when the 'man in sky' arrives, he will not neglect to visit my home because of uncleanliness! So, let's try and make 2019 the cleanest year ever, beginning with your or, your spouses, own personal things and watch personal growth improve exponentially!
