Oh Man, it was awesome. Only a few years I lived in Hull but it felt like a spiritual home. Quite often I find myself wishing I never left. I'm originally from Rockland Maine, so even though I grew up right next to the ocean, it was a very different experience from living on Nantasket.
It's funny how Boston and its traffic makes this sort of wall between the North and South. I lived in the city for some years so met people from the north shore who showed me some of the good spots up there, and I'm really grateful they did. Went to Nahant for 4th of July (I think?) once and saw that it was a pretty sweet place. Like the Hull of the north, but without the Southie street culture you find in Hull....which can be good or bad depending on your priorities, lol.
My favorite beach on the North Shore I ever went to was Wingaersheek Beach. A girl I was dating liked it there and we went a few times. I loved all the rock formations in the water that you could meander around. Man I'd love to live that summer again. Post some pics of Wingaersheek this summer and you'll guarantee my 100% upvote 😂
