They have found some weird stuff on Mars, but is it nothing more than pareidolia? If you are unfamiliar with pareidolia, it is the human tendency to see concrete tangible things within natural formations, or in other such abstractions as well. A famous example here on earth would be the old man in the mountain. Then of course there is my favorite, the virgin Mary image that appeared, quite miraculously, on a grilled cheese sandwich (lol). Last but certainly not least, we have the face referred to commonly as the man on the moon, probably our most famous example of pareidolia :)

Many of you have probably heard of the face on Mars, but were you aware of the gobs and gobs of other things they have found? There are things that look like pyramids, roads, canals, small cities, and all kinds of other weird stuff that could be written off easily as paredolia. But i like to imagine, what if!? What if some of that stuff is actually ancient ruins and such? What if we are the descendants of ancient Martians?

Until we go there, and take a closer look at these things, we might never know.
