Did you ever see a place that just dares you to go and take a closer look? I have, frequently! On occasion, it has even gotten me into trouble! Nothing serious of course, but it is always a little jarring. Beauty in any form can sometimes be irresistible, and places can beckon to us. As i get older and reminisce more frequently, i often mentally go back to the many interesting places, and try to imagine myself there again.
The place in the image below is just an abandoned little apartment enclosure, but it is the mystery of the place that intrigues me most. Is there an interesting story hiding behind it's boarded walls? What happened here? Why does the owner not fix it up and rent it out? SO many questions! Often i dream of being freely allowed to explore, as an invisible observer. That way i could satisfy all my curiosity without getting in trouble for it.
