Is branded hashtag really needed for Hive?
Is that important to have one?
Let's discuss this.
The doge fenomena
We all know Doge is an internet sensation and became even more popular when Elon tweeted about Doge. Until today, Doge has become the meme and artist of the crypto world.
And when Doge is trending, it is the talk of the town especially in Twitter.
But where is Hive?
Twitter is undeniable one of the most important social media platforms to talk about cryptocurrency and to gain its popularity.
Something like, you can say, Twitter bridges that gap between crypto world and social media.
You might also say, Twitter is the best platform for us to promote Hive.
But, anything can happen? We might be more popular somewhere else later on, maybe on Facebook? For a start, let us go for Twitter shall we?
I highly respect Hive hustlers which is making noise in Twitter to promote and market Hive and making Hive at least being talked about if not trending.
Where are we at Twitter?
At the moment, the data which is supplied by 
Compared to other coins, the data shows that we do make Hive at least known or being talked around on Twitter. (Perhaps we need more people there? Or maybe we need more Hive marketers?)
On the same note, #posh has really bring the gap between Twitter and Hive a little bit closer. (But we still need more!)
So, What is Branded Hashtag?
First things first, when it comes to hashtags, it is really is simple and straightforward.
You use # and maybe and maybe not it can be trending. It depends. Of course unless you are someone like Elon.
Hashtags can be basically used to boost organic posts. It can also be used as a median to start conversation with other communities and so on.
Meanwhile, branded hashtag is like our own version or trademark of that particular hashtags.
For instance the recent trending hashtags is #dogeday. #hiveday perhaps? It might not be that catchy as dogeday and bear in mind, doge is already a popular meme in the crypto world.
Do we need a branded hashtag for Hive?
Honestly, I really can't answer this question because it is that one million dollar question.
But, when it comes to marketing, my principle is that all marketing initiatives to promote product/service is a good marketing. So, we should have one branded hashtag.
Perhaps this would be a the right time to create our own branded hashtag. But I know creating one suitable might be difficult and making it trending could be even harder.
Personally to me, hashtags or branded hashtag can only have two outcomes, not trending and trending.
So, I think starting one branded hashtag won't be harmful.
Since we do not have that dedicated marketing team (we are all Hive marketers right?), is it ok if we start one?
Marketing Hive?
On a different note on Hive marketing, to my knowledge, we don't have that specific Hive marketers which directly come up with a business model specifically to market Hive. Of course, individually we have our own way of marketing Hive, right?

What should be name our branded hashtag?
If this post receives a lot of comments (or perhaps trending, lol), I might move to another topic which is creating that suitable branded hashtag for Hive. (I will be creating a post on this anyway)
There can be a lot of things that can be done once we have that Hive personal branded hashtag. To me, I envision this as a tool that can be marketed on Twitter and any other platforms. I imagined that one day people will say, "Hey, it's #hiveday today!".
Something that people will always talk and have meaning. But sky is the limit! Let's look beyond!
